Designed for portability, the Fake Finder is about the same size as a modern smart phone. Carry it with you to coin shops, pawn shops, numismatic shows, or leave it set up on your desk at work. The sliding top keeps the magnets clean and also acts as the stand. It can be set up at a steep angle (45 degrees) or a shallow angle of about 22.5 degrees.
40% coins will slide faster than 90% and 999 will slide slow. Always use a “known good" or "known fake” coin or bar for comparison. In other words, the better the conductor is, the slower it will slide.
